I. Description

 

WL-800A/B, WL-800LA/LB and WL800-2A/B are heat cured encapsulating epoxy resins. They consist of main agent, curing agent and DF-090 light diffusing agent. The main compositions are electronic class low viscosity epoxy resin, additives, acid anhydride, and light diffusing filler. Following are their main features:

1.        Low mixture viscosity, good degassing characteristics.

2.        Long pot life at room temperature, rapidly curing at medium temperature.

3.        Outstanding mechanical, physical properties and low shrinkage rate after curing.

4.        Good transparent after curing.

III. Working condition

Curing condition	℃/hrs	Release from mould after curing at 130°C for 30~40 min. Otherwise the mould releasability is worse. Aging at 100 -120oC for 4-5 hrs. 1. Recommended quantity (in weight) of diffusing agent and color paste to be used with WL-800A/B, WL-800LA/LB and WL-800-2A/1B:

2.        Before use, material A is to be pre-heated to 50^oC, then add material B in proportion and mix them thoroughly.

3.        The mixture (A+B) is to be vacuum degassed at 3 torr and 40 ^oC. When the liquid level sinks for10 – 15 minute, stop de-degassing.

4.        The encapsulated parts should be pre-heated at 70 –90 ^oC for 1 hour to eliminate the moisture they may have adsorbed (only for indicator).

5.        If possible encapsulating process should be carried in vacuum.

6.        If light-diffusing agent DF-090 and color paste is to be used, the quantity of material B has to be increased to an amount of half of the quantity of DF-090 and color paste.

 

IV. Applications

 WL-800A/B and WL-800LA/LB are used for encapsulating common LED.

 WL-800-2A/1B is specially for encapsulating indicator.

     VI. Storage, transportation and points to note

1.        This product does not belong to dangerous article. It can be stored and transported in the way as common chemicals do. The shelf life is designated in the container.

2.        Take precise note of the type of the product, put it in place properly. Weigh it precisely and make a thoroughly mixing.

3.        Material B is liable to absorb moisture, the lid of the container must be tightly covered after use.

Packed in 6-kg plastic container.
